Our Automation & Artificial Intelligence team supports leading organisations in their digital transformation. We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in process automation, agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you will advise clients and take end-to-end responsibility for projects—from initial analysis through to the implementation of autonomous systems. Experience within the construction and/or infrastructure sector is advantageous.
Your responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise processes by assessing complex construction workflows (tendering, procurement, project management, claims) to identify end-to-end automation opportunities
- Design and implement agentic AI by developing autonomous AI agents that extend beyond traditional RPA to independently manage and execute decision-critical workflows
- Deploy LLM solutions by implementing Large Language Models and generative AI to process unstructured data (e.g. automated analysis of bills of quantities, contract documentation and construction records)
- Leverage AI technologies and computer vision by combining LLMs with computer vision (CNNs) and predictive analytics for comprehensive project monitoring
- Drive integration and orchestration by connecting ERP systems, BIM platforms and process mining tools through state-of-the-art automation solutions
- Lead stakeholder management by presenting advanced technology solutions at C-level and translating technical innovation into tangible business valueProcess analysis & optimisation:

Your profile
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in RPA and AI, ideally including the development of agent-based systems
- Tech stack: Proficiency in Python, SQL and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), as well as experience with frameworks for LLM orchestration (e.g. LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGPT)
- AI expertise: Strong understanding of RAG architectures (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering and, ideally, model fine-tuning
- Construction know-how: Knowledge of planning, cost estimation, tendering, procurement and construction documentation (e.g. PlanRadar)
- Smart building & IoT: Experience with smart building technologies (e.g. laboratory environments), IoT control systems and digital building management systems
- Platform integration: Expertise in implementing digital platforms for space and resource management and integrating them with AI services
- User-level expertise: Familiarity with industry software (e.g. BIM 5D, matDOC, BIM2Field/Field2)
- Language & education: Fluent in German and English, with a degree in (Business) Information Systems, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Working style: Reliable, self-motivated and consistently up to date with the latest technological developments
